Studied layout & design at East Sydney Tech. College and Randwick Tech. College.
1984 – 1985 Painted for 9 months in artist co-op.
1985 – 1987 Worked at Pope Kiernan & Black Advertising, Sydney as an Art Director.
1987 – 1991 Worked at DDB Needham Advertising Sydney, as a Senior Art Director and Group Head.
1992 – 1994 Worked at Jarvis Fielding + More Advertising Brisbane as a Senior Art Director.
1994 – 2002 Owned and managed Advertising & Design Business ‘Phillip Tamblyn Art Direction’
2002 – 2010 Changed name to ‘Fire Advertising & Design’
2008 Started Painting as professional career.
2009 Started ‘Fire Fine Art & Design’.
